About Me

As a north Alabama native, I was born in Arab and grew up around Lake Guntersville where my parents introduced me to the water and small-town lake living. The lake represented a steadiness and feeling of home. After attending Auburn University, my husband and I bought farmland in the Notasulga area and saved an 1880s Auburn home from demolition. Some talented men relocated the house to our farm. The restoration taught me the good, bad, and ugly of construction...and I LOVED every minute!

I love chasing a Lake Martin sunset in our cruiser which stays docked at The Ridge Marina. I'm the proud mama of a Lee-Scott Academy Warrior! Grayson Caroline is in 3rd grade and began playing golf at age 4. Enrolled in the junior program at Moore's Mill Golf Club, her favorite camp and course is Willow Point’s. She recently placed 3rd in the Drive, Chip and Putt subregional driving competition and received her first trophy from Augusta National, home of the Masters Tournament. When you see her around, tell her to keep swinging!
