The Willows Phase 4 released

Russell Lands is releasing price lists and sales material for The Willows Phase 4 at 12:00 noon Friday, July 10. The Willows’ earlier phases have been very popular additions to Lake Martin with a sales pace not seen in recent memory.

In less than a two-year period, 30 waterfront homesites have gone under contract in The Willows. Multiple custom homes are complete or nearly complete providing a beautiful preview of Russell Lands’ vision for this new Lake Martin neighborhood.

What makes this such a popular neighborhood can be summed up in three words: location, topography, and beauty. The Willows is the latest addition to the Willow Point community. That means it is located near the very popular and private Willow Point Golf & Country Club. Also, The Willows is on the northern shoreline of Pitchford Hollow, literally a lake within a lake. Since it is on the northwestern part of Lake Martin, it is very close to Alexander City and easily accessed from Birmingham, Atlanta, or Montgomery.

Since Lake Martin is a man-made lake in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, lake homesites tend to be fairly hilly, and homes are typically walk-out basements with flights of stairs to the water. The topo for The Willows is as gentle as you are likely to find on Lake Martin. This allows for easy access to the waterfront.

The beauty of The Willows is apparent on many levels. First, there is the natural beauty of the land and the mature forest lining the shore. Then, there is the beauty of the already existing architecture in the neighborhood (see below). Clearly, these homes are a “cut above” the normal lake home. Finally, there is the privacy that each home will enjoy on these much-larger-than-average homesites. Waterfront footage averages more than 250 feet of shoreline. That space ensures ample distance between homes and piers.

The Willows Phase 4 has been anticipated for some time now. If you have an interest, or if you have a friend that may be interested in acquiring one of these lakefront homesites, please give your Lake Martin Realty agent a call (or select one here) to request sales materials. We will begin considering offers on July 17, so you have some time to come for a tour. But, don’t wait too long—the best lots tend to go first.
