Christmas at Crossroads

Friday, November 27 – 10am-2pm
The Town Green at Russell Crossroads

Some things don’t need to change. Things like the visions children have as Christmas nears—their visions of brightly colored packages under the Christmas tree and the surprises that Santa leaves behind. Those visions have a warm place in all our hearts. But, for safety reasons, some things do need to change just a little. This year, we plan to hold the annual Christmas at Crossroads event on November 27 from 10am–2pm. As in the past, Christmas at Crossroads will include games for the kids, the arrival of Santa Claus, and handmade creations at our Holiday Bazaar.

As for things being slightly different, we will ask that you please help us out by social distancing and by wearing your own face mask or one that we provide. We want to keep Santa safe and well so that he can deliver all the wonderful things the kids ask him for! Temperature checks will be taken of those in line to see Santa, and time with Santa will be limited. Photos with Santa will be limited to small groups and children only—parents may stand in with infants. Santa and the children will be protected by a plexiglass barrier, but it will be decorated to create the perfect Christmas photo op!

Fear not! Santa will make his yearly appearance but will keep a safe distance to ensure Christmas goes on as planned. Wagon rides will be limited to one family at a time, just like we did at the Fall Family Festival. Yes, we can have fun and be safe at the same time!

We also will be offering some delicious new food options this year! Sum’in Dif’rent from Alex City will be at Christmas at Crossroads selling barbecue sandwiches, loaded nachos, tacos, Polish dogs, and hot dogs. So, come hungry for Santa and the Holiday Bazaar!

Holiday Bazaar

Friday, November 27 – 9am-3pm
The Town Green at Russell Crossroads

This juried art show on the Town Green features nearly 50 local artisans from Lake Martin and the surrounding area exhibiting original works in jewelry, reclaimed wood décor, paintings, pottery, metalwork, photography, candles, soaps, and much more. It’s the perfect place to find unique gifts for those on your list or décor items for your home. Avoid the stores and come browse the aisles under our tents.

We’ve spaced out the vendor booths to provide safer distancing, and masks will be required of all vendors and patrons. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided.
